“What an amazing weekend for myself and my JDX Racing team. Words can't describe how awesome it was to take my first win in Porsche GT3 Cup at what I consider my home track. I had so many friends and family members here to watch and cheer me on, making this first win extra special! Our JDX team tested here the weekend prior to the race and that paid big dividends this weekend. I knew the track and I had a car that was rock solid, so all we had to focus on was a bit of tuning for the [weather and track] conditions."

"In qualifying, I got stacked up behind a couple cars and couldn't get a fast lap in so I had to settle for P4 starting position for race one and P5 for race two. I had a perfect start in race one and was able to gain two spots in the first turn and within another half-lap I was leading the field. We had a pretty long yellow flag for two cars that collided on the restart, but I got a good restart and never felt challenged. I just kept driving clean, fast laps and made sure I kept at least a one second gap between myself and second place. When I came around and saw the white flag, I knew the victory was mine! It was an amazing feeling to take my first win in GT3 Cup!

“In race two, I had another great start and moved from fifth to third in turn one. When I moved into second place, I was determined to chase Corey Fergus down but we ended up battling nose to tail and wheel to wheel the entire race! It was the most fun and most difficult race I've ever run but Corey and I gave each other room and raced cleanly. I'm proud to have finished every race on the podium, but we are not going to relax as we have plenty of testing scheduled in the break between COTA and The Glen (Watkins Glen) and we'll be stronger than ever for the next round at the end of June.”

“I'm so proud of the entire JDX Racing organization and what we have achieved. I'm especially proud of Trenton getting his first GT3 Cup win on only is fifth race - what an accomplishment. While we had some minor issues in qualifying, we were all confident Trenton would race to the front, and he did exactly that. As icing on the cake, he got that first win in front of a large group of friends and family from San Antonio, TX - can't get much better than that."

"Trenton is really progressing as a young driver and to see his skill behind the wheel of the #3/JDX Racing/Hertz Porsche is amazing. His feedback about the car and track and his ability to learn and understand what is going on with the car grows every day, and that's what should make his competition nervous as much as his raw speed and exemplary racecraft."

"Mark Kvamme is also progressing every weekend and the time and effort he puts in outside the car to be a better driver really shows. Mark's been on the podium five of the last six races and not only is he winning in the Platinum Masters class, he's moving into the top-10 in the entire field."
