JDX Racing is excited to announce the return of Trenton Estep to the #3/ Hertz/Porsche GT3 Cup Car and a new partnership with Byers Porsche of Columbus, Ohio for the 2018 season of the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama.

Trenton roared into Sebring at the start of the 2017 season with double podium finishes. He continued to string together another six podium finishes in six races as he claimed third place in the 2017 GT3 Cup Championship season points. His freshman season was bookended with another double podium performance at Road Atlanta, finishing his first full season in the #3/JDX Racing/Hertz/ Porsche with a huge win in the last round of the year.

Estep, a high school senior from San Antonio, TX, comes from a successful background in karting and formula cars and that experience has transferred very well to Porsche racing cars. Of the 14 IMSA/Porsche GT3 Cup races he competed in, Trenton finished Top 5 or better in 11 races with multiple race wins all the while receiving accolades from other drivers in the paddock for his aggressive but clean driving style and overtaking skills.

Hertz – one of the world’s most iconic and recognized car rental brands – also returns as a JDX Racing partner for the seventh consecutive year. The long running partnership has yielded tremendous results for both Hertz and JDX Racing through various branding opportunities and customer experience activities.

JDX Racing is pleased to announce the addition of Byers Porsche to their partnership portfolio. Byers Porsche is a member of the Byers Auto Group, a family owned and operated automotive business that has been serving Central Ohio for more than 120 years. What started as a horse and buggy business has grown to 15 dealerships at eight locations and nearly 1000 employees. Byers Porsche is the top-rated Porsche dealership in the Midwest and also operates the Hertz franchises in the Columbus, Ohio area.
